Pastor Sidney graduated with an Associate of Science degree in 2000 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Psychology (Magna Cum Laude) from Park University in 2004. Pastor Sidney has diligently served as Volunteer Chaplain with the Austin Police Department for over 3 years. He has also worked for Austin Energy as a Safety Consultant for over 23 years.
He is a member of the American Academy of Crisis Counselors as of January 2001; having been examined in regard to Christian experience, Christian education, Bible Doctrine and understanding concerning counseling ethics and skill. He is a committed husband to Shaundra E. Maloy and a dedicated father to three daughters La Porshia N. Maloy, Jasmine M. Maloy and Secquoia Y. Maloy. He is the proud grandfather of Raylon and Nyla. We are also convinced of the reality of powerful prayer. We believe that a praying church has a much better chance of making a difference than a prayer-less one. |
