THE TITHE

Leviticus 27:30
"And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's. It is holy to the Lord."

The tithe is the first tenth of all your increase. It is 10% of your gross income, or any increase you receive. The first tenth belongs to God. The tithe provides blessings because of obedience and protection from the devourer.

THE OFFERING

2 Corinthians 9:6-8
"But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

The offering is what you give above the tithe. The amount you give, and the spirit you give it in, determines the level of increase you will enjoy in your life. Giving an offering brings increase to your future based on how you sow today.

THE WOODIE HALL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Woodie Hall Scholarship Fund (WHSF) is dedicated to assist young people with their quest for higher education. This fund was created by the wife and father of Woodie Hall for the youth of New Life Church. Brother Hall was a faithful member who would always stress the need and importance of education to our youth. Scholarships are awarded to deserving high school seniors that plan to attend an accredited college or university. Also, the WHSF is available for current college students that wish to continue in a degree program.
